Howjaputyer worksheets/homework/documents online?

I use google docs to post documents online. If I give out a copy of something in class then I almost always put it on my website as well. This way I don't have to print extra copies for students who are prone to misplacement of important things. My syllabus, for instance, is online, always available to students, families, and colleagues.

Google is wonderful. They have the best webmail service, they have the best search engine, they have a good online calendar, and they host my blog for free. They also now have online software that rivals Microsoft Office. When you use google docs, your work is saved online, it can be shared with other users, you can invite collaborators, and you can publish your work on your website.

Click here to go sign up for a google account and get cracking with gmail, google calendar, and google docs. Once you finish your document, click the "Share" button, and select "Publish as a web page". Adjust the settings, click OK, and there you go!

  1. Google also has website hosting now
    http://sites.google.com
which might be more appropriate than blogger if the ability to comment or retain content in archives is not necessary
